Ken Caryl Estate — Primary Suite & Kitchen Transformation
A Ken Caryl homeowner came to us with a sprawling home that hadn't been significantly updated since 2001. The primary bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub that was never used and a shower that was too small. The kitchen had cherry cabinets that were dated and a layout that didn't serve a family who actually cooked. We converted the jacuzzi space into a walk-in shower with a bench and rain head, added a freestanding soaking tub, installed heated tile throughout, and replaced the vanity with a custom double piece in white oak. In the kitchen, we replaced all cabinetry with floor-to-ceiling shaker panels in a warm white, installed a quartzite island and perimeter counters, and opened the soffit to maximize ceiling height. The project ran 11 weeks and finished on budget.
