Premium Custom Renovation for Centennial's Executive Homes

✦ ABOUT THIS AREA ✦

Centennial — incorporated only in 2001 but built over several decades before that — is home to some of the Front Range's most desirable residential communities. Willow Creek, Foxridge, Piney Creek, and Homestead Farm represent a tier of Arapahoe County that expects precision. Homes here were often built to higher original specifications, and renovation work needs to match that standard. Hank's Custom Homes operates at the level Centennial homeowners expect: detailed pre-project planning, transparent contracts, premium material selection, and finish quality that survives long-term use. We're not the cheapest option in Centennial — but for homeowners who've been burned by cheap work before, we're the right one.

We serve all of Centennial's planned communities and established neighborhoods, including areas in the Cherry Creek School District corridor and along the E-470 beltway.

Home Remodelling

Centennial's executive homes were frequently built with formal dining rooms, closed-off kitchens, and layouts designed for a 1990s lifestyle. Today's homeowners want open plans, indoor-outdoor flow, and multi-function spaces. We manage the structural work — beam installation, load-bearing wall removal, permit coordination through Arapahoe County — to make those transformations happen correctly.

✦ PROJECT SPOTLIGHT ✦

Willow Creek Executive Home — Main Floor Transformation

A 1995 executive home in Willow Creek had a formal dining room that had been used as a storage space for eight years and a kitchen separated from the great room by a full wall. The homeowner's vision was a single flowing space with an oversized island. We removed the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and great room, installed an engineered beam, extended the hardwood flooring throughout the newly opened area, built a 10-foot waterfall-edge island, replaced all cabinetry to the ceiling, and converted the dining room into a functional butler's pantry with custom shelving and a beverage fridge. The transformation fundamentally changed how the family used the main floor — and added measurable value to the property.

✦ FROM A CENTENNIAL HOMEOWNER ✦

We'd been living around a closed-off kitchen for years, knowing it needed to change but not trusting anyone to do it right. Hank's gave us a detailed scope, pulled the structural permit without issue, and the result is exactly what we envisioned. The beam work is flawless. We use that space every single day.

✦ COMMON QUESTIONS ✦

Centennial FAQ

Do you pull permits through Arapahoe County for Centennial projects?

Yes. Centennial contracts permitting through Arapahoe County's Building Division. We handle all permit applications — structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical — and schedule all required inspections. Our projects in Centennial have a clean inspection record.

How do you handle load-bearing wall removal for open-concept projects?

We always begin with a structural assessment to confirm whether a wall is load-bearing and what beam size is required to span the opening. We work with a licensed structural engineer for any beam sizing that isn't straightforward, pull the required structural permit, and have the beam installation inspected before closing up. This is not optional — it's how it has to be done.

Can you coordinate with our interior designer for a Centennial renovation?

Yes — and we encourage it. We work from detailed finish schedules and can coordinate directly on procurement lead times, rough-in dimensions for custom furniture, and any field conditions that affect the design. We treat the designer as a partner, not a complication.
